Method 1

1. Select the symbol you wish to expand.

2. Click the Symbol button on the Inspiration tool bar.

3. Type in the new sub-topic idea.

Method 2

This method allows you to select the direction you want your topic to go.

1. First select the topic you wish to expand.

2. Find one of the two Create buttons on the Inspiration tool bar.

3. Using the first Create button you may add a symbol to the right (shown), left, or directly above or below the current symbol.

4. Using the second Create button, you may add a symbol in one of four diagonal directions.
